We can help you find the professionals who fit your style and personality. If you don’t have an architect, we can introduce you to the area’s top, licensed, and accredited architects. If you don’t have a designer, we can also introduce you to those, or you can work with our on-staff designer. We are involved every step of the way to provide you feedback from a builder’s perspective through the entire process.

Bidding.

We don’t speculate on projects. It is impossible for anyone to compare “apples to apples” in this business. We plug in realistic budget numbers and use the highest quality materials as well as the best people. Our references will attest to our fair, honest approach.

Financing.

We have relationships with the key financing organizations in the city to provide you the resources needed to realize your dreams.

Building.

You can expect top quality construction and daily progress. Once we start your project we are on the job every day until completion, and we are available 24 hours a day. You can change your mind, the size of a room, or anything about the project through the course of construction.

Todd Needham

Todd Needham, owner of Matrix Construction, Inc., grew up in construction. During high school and college summers he was pouring concrete, working on a asphalt crew, in heavy concrete construction in Chicago, and then moved to Grand Rapids, MI, in 1985 to work for Pioneer Construction.

In 1987, Todd took a job with a Chicago-based developer and construction managed Meadowbrooke Business Park by the Kent County International Airport. In 1990, he started Matrix Construction, Inc. and together with the help of great employees and talented subcontractors has been building and renovating since.
