Keep the lot, revamp the house
The challenge presented by this 1930s bungalow was to retain its charm and dignity while expanding and renovating its cramped living space. Matrix gutted the interior (all but two rooms) and rebuilt the exterior, adding square footage in three directions – to the side, back and second story. Even the garage was overhauled to match the home’s fresh new look.
Our project was completed on time and within budget. What’s more, practically all of the work was done via fax and e-mail while we were in Ireland. The crew and subcontractors couldn’t have been nicer. We were all friends after the project and continue to be so.
